Free Speech Radio News to cease production.

Once again, we regretfully come to you with news of another program cancellation.

As the financial crisis at Pacifica deepens, Free Speech Radio News, which relies heavily on funding from Pacifica, will cease production this Friday, 9/27.

As a result of this development, Geneva Community Radio will be implementing a new schedule on weeknights between 6 and 7 PM. Be sure to check our schedule page later this week for full details.

We hope you will enjoy the new lineup, including several programs that are new to GCR.

GCR Announces Partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva

Geneva Community Radio is pleased to announce  a partnership with The Boys And Girls Club of Geneva.

This partnership was many months in the making. and will ensure a sound future for the radio station. It will present new opportunities for youth, teens, and other members of the Geneva community to produce new and exciting content.

Also, the Boys and Girls Club will act as the licensee of our proposed low power FM station.

The first major development in this partnership was a move of the GCR studio into the Geneva Community Center at 160 Carter Road. We anticipate this will be the first of many exciting developments for the station.

There will be no immediate programming changes as a result of this partnership. GCR still maintains its commitment to broadcast diverse programming from around the world, and from within our community.

If you have questions regarding this partnership, please e-mail the station at genevaradio@yahoo.com, or give us a call at (315) 308-4272.

Thank you for your continued support of community radio in the central Finger Lakes.
